Munch

Hi Nina So sorry to have to write to tell you and our friends at SPIN that Munch died last week. He had a grand life thanks to you all and he died peacefully. He suddenly became ill with an apparent abdominal cancer. I’ve attached a couple photos and have dozens more to share.

We got him from you 6 years ago almost to the day. It was after you all rescued him after he suffered a serious facial bite of unknown origin. He was treated by Tufts and Dr Cosimini. He appeared to be 10 years old at the time and was named “The Cat” which we changed to Munch in honor of more than his girth (at one point he was over 20 lbs). He had been kept with Sue Webb at the Wellesley Police (along with Bear who is alive and well and along with Cosmo and our dog Roxy missing Munch). After 6 months with Sue and Co. he and Bear (another bitten stray) came home with us.

He had a great life, was king of the manor here and always knew how to find the best rays of sun, warmth from the wood stove and ear scratches from his humans. He dropped weight over the years (a good thing) and remained frisky and, up to the end “large and in charge” even at his reduced weight. However, since Christmas had gone from 12 to 9 lbs. We counted him to be 17 years young by now.

So he has left us now but made us all so happy during his time here. Thanks to SPIN for all you do. With warm regards, Linda.

FELLS/MASON GRAY

Hi
I adopted, “Fells” last Thursday and wanted to send you couple of photos.
His new name is Mason Gray and he is now purring up a storm and sitting on my lap when I am on the computer. Here are some photos of him in the last week.
THANKS
Meredith Powell

CHOPSTICKS AND FAFFY

Hi
Here are some pictures of Chopsticks & Faffy :). They are adjusting quite well and often come up to us and wait to get petted. The first couple days they preferred to hide under the bed a lot but now they are having a lot of fun running all over the place. They love sitting in the window & when we have the blinds closed at night they hide from each other behind them. It is so cute.
Have a great day!
